Rally Driving Stag Parties in the UK and Ireland Testimonials

When my little brother asked me to be his best man I was absolutely made up for him, and when it came to organising his stag do I couldn't wait to get everything sorted. A night out with the lads was a given, but I wanted to treat him to something he'd really remember before hand.

After looking into a couple of different ideas I decided to book a rally driving experience for the two of us because we're both massive petrol heads, and I knew he'd love the chance to get behind the wheel of a rally car. Because I'd organised a night out with the lads too I knew he wouldn't mind having to put up with his big brother for a couple of hours either!

On the day of his stag party we arrived at the rally centre nice and early, and we were both raring to get our rally driving experience under way. The day started with a full briefing from a qualified rally driving instructor who told us how to get the best out of the cars without getting in too much trouble. After we'd completed our briefing it was straight down to action though, and we took it in turns to have stints at the wheel.

Being the kind hearted big brother that I am I let the groom go first so I watched him tear round the gravel rally circuit from the safety of the briefing room. But before I knew it it was my turn to take the wheel, and with the instructor in the co-driver's seat I learnt how to master skills like power slides and hand brake turns, which was even more fun than it sounds!

We both absolutely loved the rally driving experience and when we told the rest of the lads how much fun it was we got some serious stick for not taking them with us. It was worth all the stick though and don't think my little brother will be forgetting his stag do in a hurry, what a day!

"I booked a half day event as a joint present for my two sons and myself. Arrived at the venue and joined the rest of the group to have our briefing.

There were 15 in the group who were split into 3 groups of 5. Each group had their own instructor, ours was Ryan who was exceptionally tolerant (and brave!). I can't remember how many practice runs there were before the two timed stages but spread out over the morning I felt it was very well organised with quite short intervals between goes. At the end, Ryan was able to repay the fear by showing us what it's really like when done properly!

The main organiser (sorry can't remember your name) was very knowledgable and very happy to talk about his own rallying experiences.

Be prepared to get a bit muddy and don't wear your best bib and tucker. Yes it is expensive but in the grand scheme of things I think it is very good value for money when you consider their high overheads of vehicle maintenance, ground upkeep and insurances.

Thank you to all of the organisers, we had a great time time."
