    • "I booked a half day event as a joint present for my two sons and myself. Arrived at the venue and joined the rest of the group to have our briefing.

There were 15 in the group who were split into 3 groups of 5. Each group had their own instructor, ours was Ryan who was exceptionally tolerant (and brave!). I can't remember how many practice runs there were before the two timed stages but spread out over the morning I felt it was very well organised with quite short intervals between goes. At the end, Ryan was able to repay the fear by showing us what it's really like when done properly!

The main organiser (sorry can't remember your name) was very knowledgable and very happy to talk about his own rallying experiences.

Be prepared to get a bit muddy and don't wear your best bib and tucker. Yes it is expensive but in the grand scheme of things I think it is very good value for money when you consider their high overheads of vehicle maintenance, ground upkeep and insurances.

Thank you to all of the organisers, we had a great time time."

My dad is a complete petrol head so for his 60th birthday I wanted to get him something that would really satisfy his need for speed. I looked into loads of different of things, but when I came across rally driving experiences I knew I'd found him the perfect present.

I ordered his voucher online, and when it arrived in the post a couple of days later it was all boxed up with loads of information about rallying. When I gave Dad his voucher on his birthday he was absolutely over the moon, and he couldn't wait to get behind the wheel of a rally car! He redeemed his voucher pretty much straight away, and he only had to wait a month of so before the day of his rally driving experience.

Unfortunately I couldn't go with him on the day, but when he came back from his rally driving experience I heard all about it. By the sounds of it he'd loved every second, and he'd even impressed the instructor with his driving skills.

Thankfully I've not had to get in a car with him since his rally driving experience because apparently he thinks he's a professional rally driver now!

Earlier this year I turned 21 and my dad bought me a rally driving experience to mark the big day. Despite failing my test I don't know how many times I love driving, and we both spend most weekends watching the rallying or F1. I think my dad was secretly hoping I'd be busy and pass my rallying driving experience on to him, but there was no chance!

I redeemed my voucher pretty much straight away and got my rally driving experience booked in for the summer. I couldn't wait and thankfully it soon came around. On the day of my experience I arrived and got signed in straight away, and before I knew it I was in the car learning how to power-slide and hand brake turn!

The circuit was mad up of a couple of different rally stages, which meant it was just like the real thing, and the cars were next level! I couldn't believe how quick they were, and with the help of the instructor I learnt how to squeeze every last drop of speed out.

When I told my dad how much fun my rally driving experience was he was so jealous, and I really rubbed it in. So much so that I think it's only a matter of time before he books his own rally driving experience.
